Parents/Spectators have a great influence on children’s enjoyment and success in football.  All children play football because first and foremost they love and enjoy the game.  Whatever level of football a child achieves it is important to reinforce the message that positive encouragement continues to contribute towards;

The child enjoying football;

                                                 Improving individual and team skills and techniques;

                                                Creating a sense of personal achievement;

                                                Raising self-esteem;

                                                Learning to handle success and failure, with consideration and maturity.

Parents/Spectators can have significant influence on a child’s attitude towards other players (home & away), match officials, managers/coaches, and spectators.”
